Remove the (4) allen head bolts that hold the plastic engine cover. Eliminate the waiting tube that connects the accelerator chamber to air filter box. Pull off the valve covering breather hose v the wait tube. Now place a drop light under the 2 rubber heater hoses (at the firewall ~ above the motorists hand side), shining the irradiate forward towards the back side that the block (below the intake runners). To view the crankshaft sensor and connector, look between the valve cover and also the accelerator chambers (intake runners) on the motorists side, look directly down towards the ground… look because that the sensor v a black wire connector with a eco-friendly tab ~ above the side, held to the engine block v a yellow colored 10mm hex headed bolt. Next action is to gain the CPS out of the side of the block, this to be the hardest part for me.. That is a 10mm bolt holding that in, ns took a 2in extension and also reached down and also put the on the bolt. Then took a 4-6in extension and rachet and hooked to the already started 2in and also socket and also lossen that up.. Now to acquire the CPS the end of the block friend might be able to wiggle it ago and soon to gain it out, mine ns took some needle nose pliers and grabbed it and also pulled it out..
