So i just gained to Quebec (9000 miles on my 2012 JKU) and after a if of the freezing temps, the BRAKE light come on (ebrake not touched and completely disengaged) and also stays on. My critical jeep did that. I necessary wheel speed sensors and a cleaned out hub because the sensor damaged off into the hub. It was a mess.
No, no wash. I washed the jeep in ~ home prior to I left and then drove 600 miles to quebec. Thats where the problem started. Jeep is at this time covered in salt and also slop (slush) i m sorry melts turn off in the garage. My hesitation is the salt is law something v the sensor, but who knows.As because that wheel rate sensors, I think other symptoms would certainly arise, including a malfunctioning ESP no?

This would certainly be odd due to the fact that the reservoir is under the hood, therefore the longer I drive it seems the warmer it gets (unless the fluid in the exterior lines is gaining supercooled quickly.)I still suspect it is a salt/water worry messing roughly with the sensor. Anyone know where the sensor is situated that feeds the BRAKE light on the dash? I may clean it thoroughly as soon as I get home, and also throw a few coats the plastidip on there to defend it.
